At SpeedON Coaching we specialise in coaching services of trail and ultra-endurance runners of any level for any distance.
If you are a beginner runner who only just discovered the joy of running or an experienced athlete, together we can set goals, identify low hanging fruit and create a nuanced training strategy that will allow you to stay healthy, motivated and ultimately enable you to convert your fitness into the achievement of your greatest goals.
Communication is key
Our coaching service includes not just the design of the training architecture of your program but also consists of feedback and communication on a weekly or even daily basis if needed to elicit the minimum effective dose of training we can sustainably execute to allow optimal recovery and minimise the impact on your daily life and other responsibilities such as family and work.
This educational piece will ultimately allow you to graduate as a knowledgeable athlete with a deeper understanding of not just training but also, race execution, race nutrition, pacing and other skills that will allow you to chase big athletic goals sustainably for years to come.
Daily data drives decisions
In order to efficiently gather your running data and support your subjective feedback we require you to wear a GPS running watch as well as a secondary HR monitor (arm or chest strap, wrist based HR data (watch) is of poor and often inconsistent quality).
Part of our coaching service is a premium subscription to your personalised Training Peaks account.
Training Peaks is an advanced platform which allows us to
- Plan and design your training trajectory (short term/long term)
- Training zone setup
- synthesise all your running data instantaneously
- monitor your activities
- track your fitness- fatigue and readiness to perform
- provide daily feedback of your subjective experience
Initial consult
During the initial consult (30-45min) via zoom or over the phone we will discuss
- your previous history as an athlete
- talk about what priority running has in your life
- other big life commitments ( work/ family)
- how much time you can commit to training
- health issues and injury history
- setting goals
SpeedON Coaching Package
YOUR COMMITMENTS:
- Cost $89 per week (6 weeks minimum, 2 weeks notice prior to ending the coaching services)
- Willingness to execute prescribed workouts
- Use a GPS Watch and external HR monitor
- Submit subjective feedback on workouts via Training Peaks platform frequently
- Have fun along the journey
